Another day of strong rains… another day of a canceled ride. I wonder what the weather will be like this weekend. A Reverse Palace ascent (Palace in the Sky in Tagaytay) is planned by the Backout Boys this Saturday (something worth getting excited about on my part as this would be my first time to tackle it; pedal all the way as with the Backout Boys’ tradition) plus the 2nd BGC Alley Cat Race on Sunday.

Upon logging in I was greeted by an update about the race, from King Bernas:

“Bonifacio Global City advised us that the 2nd Annual Alleycat Bike Race will be moved to May 30, 2009 due to bad weather conditions this weekend.

Registration is still open at R.O.X. until May 29, 2009.

For your guidance.

Thank you”

Just as well. With this damn weather it’ll be unsafe for the participants… and this will give me more time to look for a team partner
