I sent an email to Tourism Philippines editor-in-chief PKTan asking if he knows any mountain biking trails in the tourist destinations they feature. I knew it was a long shot mainly because I guessed he wasn’t a mountain biker, and I was correct. But still I tried.

In my email signature are 2 website URL’s: 1) to this side, TheMTBjunkie.com; and 2) to 4×4 Philippines, the first and only online information resource center focusing on Philippine 4×4′s, 4x4PH.com

In his reply he mentioned how he liked both sites. It was a semi-normal thing for people to say, but was still surprising as a lot of people ignore signature URL’s. He even complimented on Kits Aragon‘s humor article about his hosted a (vitrual) face-off ^{1 2}.

In a separate reply in our email conversation he again expressed how much he likes both sites so much that he listed both in Tourism-Philippines.com’s Links and Resources page, under Bloggers that Matter.
