South Cycle gap-jumping tutorials in Malipay

January 3, 2010, I invited an old friend, Chris, who’s fairly new to mountain biking to visit us and try out the Malipay trails. Doc Riz & I have plotted a newbie-friendly route so as not to give Chris a hard time in the trails.

It being a Sunday the usual weekend riders were at the Daang Hari. One of the groups I saw were the South Cycle riders still waiting for some friends as our group was taking off from the police outpost, the usual meeting place.

In one of the areas inside Malipay my group stopped to wait for the stragglers. Then I saw some of the South Cycle riders again. I pedaled to them to say hello and saw that the more experienced riders were playing and teaching the others how to jump a gap. Immediately I put my bike down, looked for a good spot, and got my GoPro camera ready.

    Haha! Pero hinde, nagkita lang kami sa loob ng trail. Pero minsan sumasama ako sa kanila pag weekday mornings.

    Bukas! May ride sila. I'm still not sure if I can join. Paturo ka if I'm not there. Otherwise sabay tayo paturo haha!
