Ah-ah-ah-ah, staying alive

Hey Junkies,

As you may have noticed I haven’t been sharing any of my latest adventures. Reason being is the lack of riding opportunities — mostly because of rain.

Weather’s too messed up right now. Most of the time when I’m free to go out on a ride, even a short one, and solo, rain would either start to fall as I prepare or it’ll start 10 minutes after I take off (if I decide to push through).

Maybe I should apologize for not spitting out new stories but in my defense it’s something I can’t really control.

Ride in the rain, you say? I usually don’t mind if I can’t help it. But I’m not a huge fan of going out to ride in the rain. Bike parts aren’t cheap! But don’t worry, I accept donations of mid- to high-end parts to rid me of this concern. Then I’ll be willing to ride in the rain so you guys can have some stories to read and enjoy. Just send me a PM to find out where you can ship those parts. Haha :P

With that being said I just want to assure you this site, The MTB Junkie, is still alive and well. Just staying under the shade to protect components from unnecessary wear and tear; which in turn will give me more chances to ride with no mechanical problems in the long run. Patience is a frustrating virtue.
